Do you believe it?
The 24th-seed Montreal Canadiens shocked the 5th-seed Pittsburgh Penguins, eliminating them in game four on Friday afternoon. The Canadiens played a defensive game, winning 2-0 on goals from Artturi Lehkonen and Shea Weber. Carey Price made 22 saves for his first shutout of these playoffs. The Canadiens will play the highest-seeded team in the Eastern Conference in the next round.
The Penguins, meanwhile, join a list of teams with a 12.5% chance at winning the first overall pick, and the chance to draft Alexis Lafrenière.
I will provide a full recap of game four and a preview of the next round in the coming days.
Vivent Les Canadiens – Victorieux!
Go Habs Go.
Signed, Le Bo
